About Me
I’m Karen; I’m from a small market town in the Yorkshire Dales.
Little did I think when I left, many years ago, that I would be back a lifetime later to support my parents during lockdown. My Dad has dementia and, working remotely during the day, I took over the evening shift as Dad’s dementia worsened. Sadly, he has recently had to go into care. Some of the blogs here were written whilst Dad was still at home with Mum and me.
I’m still based in the Dales, due to Mum’s health, still mainly working remotely, but now need to head southwards more frequently.
So, this blog is about my two worlds and everything in between …
I have no idea where it will take me, but please do join me on the journey.
